Do I need an account?
No. Make, preview and pay for a single document without one. A free account gets you 10 free documents, saves your history, and lets you turn quotes into invoices.
What if it reads my notes wrong?
You see a full preview before you pay, and you can edit any field. You only pay when it's right.
What can it read?
Handwriting on paper, whiteboards, receipts and notebooks, as long as a person could read it. Printed notes too. Photos can be JPG, PNG, HEIC or WebP. If a price isn't written down, the line comes in at $0 for you to fill in.
Does the voice option work on my phone?
It uses your browser's own speech-to-text, which works in Chrome, Edge and Safari. If your browser doesn't support it, type the job instead. One line is enough.
Does it handle sales tax?
Yes. Add your sales tax and it shows as its own line on the invoice. Rates vary by state, so you set the amount yourself.
Is there a monthly fee?
No. Never. $1 a document, or less with a pack. Credits never expire.
What counts as one document?
Each invoice or quote you pay for: $1 by card or one credit. Previews, edits before paying, re-downloads and turning a quote into an invoice are all free.
How do my customers pay me?
Directly, using the payment details you put on the invoice (Zelle, bank transfer, check, whatever you use). We never handle your customer's money.
Can I turn a quote into an invoice?
Yes, free, from your account. When the customer says yes, one tap makes the invoice with a new invoice number.
Can I fix an invoice after I've paid for it?
Yes, free, for 14 days. Fix any mistake and it keeps the same number. The customer's name can be corrected but not changed to a different customer; for someone else, start a new document.
What does the invoice include?
Your business name and details, your customer's name and address, itemized labor and materials, a sales tax line, the total, the due date and how to pay you. It's a US Letter PDF.
What happens to my photos and recordings?
Your photo, or the words you speak or type, are sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini) to read the job. We don't keep the photo. The documents you save stay in your account.
